Spring

It's here! It's finally, truly, really and actually here!! At last! It seems like years since it last came around. The trees are in bloom and the ants have started their yearly raid on the bathroom floor.

It's nice to get out of that dreadful snow. Oh, I know it's nice to have around and we defiantly need it, but I can only take so much. About a week is all I can stand. I sure am not going to be able to live anywhere with lots of cold, wet and snow once I get the chance to go. Not that I want to leave my home, just the weather.

It seems very funny to me, how the tibical Utah spring snows, and rains, and hails, and heats up, then snows again, yet, the people who have lived here all their lives say that spring hasn't come just because it snowed once. But of course it melted by the next day. I always am trying to tell them tha, this is spring! That's what spring is. A mix of everything. But their all determend to have it their way. It makes me laugh!

You know the best thing about spring? It means that summer is just about here. The hundred degrees weather with the burning hot sidewalks, and the sprinklers always running in someone or others yard. *Sigh* It's defiantly my favorite thing. I hate the cold. I'd take a hundred and twenty degrees over zero anyday! I also love how you don't have to wear jackets or any extra layers. My style is barefeet, shorts, and a cute tee. If I can't get away with barefeet and shorts, I'll go with flipflops and caprees.

Well, I think I'll go to bed. All those who love heat and summer, too, fill free to comment! I love hearing what you guys think!

Library

Hi everyone! I'm at school right now, in the library. I know, I should be doing work, like my math. But I couldn't pass over the chance to write a little something.

I was looking through the Jane Austen books and I found Sense and Sensibility. Great book! I can't check it out yet, but I'm going to on Monday. All those who are old enough to understand Jane Austen's writing can not miss out on her wonderful collection! After I read Sense and Sensibility, I'm going to start Emma. Another fabulous book.

To those who will take my suggestion and read her books, go to the library and check out the movies. Not the new Pride and Prejudice. The old, six movie one. And then Emma and Sense and Sensibility. They are all amazing movies. And for all those men out there who think they are to manly to watch, think again. Every guy I know or heard about who has seen these shows love them. Even if they won't admit it, they are always up to watching more.

Global Warming!

Isn't it rather odd that a while back the world was in an ice-age, yet when the world starts to warm up (as is normal) everyone flips out. It's just funny to me. When the world goes about it's normal changes, everyone thinks that all the people who drive, turn on lights, or buy and airplane ticket are personally killing polar bears. I also love how all the politicians who are screaming and hollering about global warming all own private jets and huge cars. You have to admit, that's ironic.

And my other favorite topic, cows. All that gas that is polluting the air coming from cars! All the gas that's melting the ice that the polar bears need! Better kill all the cows in the world, what with all the gas they let out a day.

I mean, honestly! Once you sit down and think about it, it's so obvious how silly it all is. Yes, it can be a ligament concern, but you can't take it out of proportion.

Thanks for reading (even if it doesn't agree with what you think)!

Music

Ok, I'm kinda bored and I'm listening to some of my music so, yeah. I'm listening to Daughtry right now. He's pretty cool. I don't like one of his songs though, called What I Want. It's kinda, well, loud. My favorite is probably Used To and All These Lives, which I have no idea what it's about, but it's pretty.

One of my other favorite songs, which is not done by Daughtry, is Come Thou Fount when the BYU Choir sings it. If you haven't heard it, look it up at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUhU0HgTq94. It's one of the most touching songs I've ever heard. I also like If You Could Hie To Kolob.

And, one of my newest obsession's, Declan Galbraith. He's an England pop singer, who is extremely cute and has a very good voice. My favorite song of his is Angel. You can look that up on Youtube, too. Tell Me Why is one he did when he was younger, and Ego You is one of his more resent songs, which is pretty good. He's a little nasal (is that spelled right?) in that one, but other then that, I really like it.

So, those are a few of my new favs. There are a lot of others, too. Like Wicked, and Impossible Dream. I might talk about them later, ut not now.

Copyright

Just FYI, everything I write on here is in fact, copyrighted. I just thought I should let everyone know.

Thanks!

Teachers

I apologize to all the great teachers out there who know what they're doing, and I'm sure there are many of you. But some of the teachers I have come in counter with, have shocked my to silence. I once thought you had to be smart to be a teacher, but apparently, it is not a requirement. I'm sure, as I siad before, that many of you are very smart, logical people, who have gone into that profesion. All I can say is that I wish there were more like you, instead of some of these teachers we get that don't even know what teaching is, let alone know how to do it. In many cases it feels more like the teacher is showing offf, more then trying to teach.

For any of you that read this that are , or are studying to become teachers, know that you will be appreciated beyond words by all your students and parents of students if you know what you need to do and do it. And, specifically for those studying the profesion, don't just do it because it's a job you'd like to do. You have to want to, not only teach, but want to help the students. Don't just try to get school over with. I have had to work with a few like this already. Really try to become a god, useful, helpful teacher.

Tons of thanks to all the wonderful teachers out there!

Think!

Ever seen the movie Pooh Bear? If you have, you'll know about his thinking. "Think, think, think, Oh!" And so forth. That's how I feel whenever I sit down to wright. It's always those few first words that are the hardest to capture. It's like jello in your head. Every time you almost have them in place, they slip away again. Farther and farther away until you finally catch them. Then, when you get them just right, their perfect. At least, that's how it is for me. It's always those first few words.
